Cyan Sun Records is proud to present Coin locker kid's 4th album "Hailstorm & Maelstrom" for cassette. This is the third reissue between Cyan Sun Records and Devyn Smith, following the 2022 reissues of "Empathica" and "Manic Pixie Dream World", released in conjunction with the fourth reissue of their debut album "The Lars Demos"

Originally released on March 3rd 2015, "Hailstorm & Maelstrom" is often regarded by many as his magnum opus under the alias alongside The Salmon of Doubt. This release sees Devyn experiment even more than before with song structuring and track to track synthesis, all while retaining his alluring production techniques and captivating storytelling.

Unlike the previous Cyan Sun / Coin locker kid reissue tapes, this album actually has received a cassette release in the past via the good people over at Already Dead Tapes back when the album initially came out. While Cyan Sun is [for the time being] primarily focusing on the Coin locker kid albums that never got a cassette reissue, we recognize that the initial Already Dead Tapes run has been sold out for quite a while and that many fans have been wanting to get their hands on a copy which is why we decided to do our own reissue of the album.
